Kwanjora Primary School in Nyandarua County, Kenya, serves nearly 300 students but struggles with limited water and poor sanitation. Existing tanks only provide water for a short time after the rains, forcing students to fetch water from a nearby dam or bring it from home. Collapsing latrines and inadequate handwashing contribute to illness, low attendance, and reduced learning. The school will upgrade its WASH facilities with a 75m³ rainwater tank, handwashing unit, and new gender-segregated latrines. These improvements will provide safer, healthier conditions and help students focus on their education.
