Katie's Mission

The Humanitarian Goal

Katie’s 10,000-mile solo Pacific row isn’t just a world-record attempt — it’s a mission to bring clean water to 100,000 people in Fiji.

Through partnerships with The Sawyer Foundation, this expedition aims to raise $1,000,000 to bring long-term clean water access to 100,000 people. Every donation directly funds filtration systems, community training, and sustainable water access.

Why Fiji? Why Now?

Oceania has the lowest per-capita access to clean water in the world. Despite its beauty, Fiji is facing a clean-water emergency — 25% of the population lacks safe drinking water, and 1 in 3 rural households rely on unsafe sources.

With fewer than one million people, Fiji has the potential to become the largest island nation in Oceania to achieve universal access to clean water, creating a global model for what’s possible.

Together, We Can Make History in Fiji

Just $60 gives a family clean water for years, eliminates waterborne illness in communities, keeps children in school instead of fetching water, and empowers women & girls with more time and opportunity
